Courtni D- Car Sunset

This photo was taken August 14, 2022 in Birmingham Alabama. It was taken with my iPhone. To edit this photo, I used the photos application on the Mac to adjust the lighting, color, noise reduction, and sharpen options. I also went into photoshop to further adjust the photo. This photo could be better if I spent more time on it or just payed a bit more attention on the editing.

Brandon B- Abandoned Workshop

I call this photo the “Abandoned Workshop”,and is actually the film location of the Brimborn Steel Works in Stranger Things season 3.  This is where the Mind Flayer created the spider monster out of flesh. This was taken on Jun 21, 2022. It was taken with my iPhone 13 Pro.  I edited the photo by adding a fog effect with blending in clouds.  I also used one of the analog filters in the Nik collection.  It could be better if I actually got out of the car to take it, but the area was sketchy (Downtown Atlanta).

CAEDEN H- Medicine Bow Peak

This image is titled Medicine Bow Peak, thusly named after where the photo was taken which was at Medicine Bow Peak in Laramie, Wyoming. I took this picture with my Iphone 12 pro, I edited this photo in the Apple photos app. I cropped the image in, increased the contrast, increased the saturation, decreased the warmth, and increased the sharpness. I think this image could be better if the bark in the foreground was more in focus.

Drew B- Concrete Jungle

The name of this photo is Concrete Jungle. I took this photo at an abandoned steel mill in Scottsboro Alabama. I took this photo with my Nikon D5600.

Joseph R- Abandoned Factory in Scottsboro

I took this image in June at an abandoned factory in Scottsboro. My friend Andrew is walking in the background, revealing the massive size of the tree growing through the concrete. It was taken with a Sony Cybershot from 2004. I only slightly adjusted the color balance in the shadows range. I believe the exposure could have been turned down somewhat and the focal length could have been longer.

Bess H - Film Camera

The title of the image is “Film Cameras”. It was taken around the end of the school year and I took it on my back porch. I used my Canon 4000D. I put some gradients on the image and I also did some things to the brightness and contrast. I ended up going with black and white because it looked the best. I wish that I had positioned the cameras differently and I wish that I edited it better.

Madison R - Downtown DC

This photo was taken on the top of the Washington Monument of DC. It was taken with my Nikon D3400 Camera. I edited it by bringing up the saturation and contrast and bringing the brightness down slightly. I also darkened the outer edge of the image to mimic a vignette. I think if I had taken this photo a bit more to the left to crop out the street on the bottom left it would be better.

Ani W- Murderous Monopoly

I’ve titled this image Murderous Monopoly because sometimes players can abuse their power and it can end badly… I took this picture late at night in my room with my Canon Rebel T-7 camera. I edited this photo by increasing the saturation, adding a filter, and adding a fake bloody handprint on the game board. I think this picture could have turned out better if I had gotten more in the shot, and maybe even added a different filter.

Linley W- Josh the Lion

The title of my picture is “Josh the Lion.” I took this picture at the Birmingham Zoo over the summer a week or two after the zoo got Josh. I took this picture with my Nikon camera. I edited this picture by brightening it up and adding some color. The windows were really foggy and dirty, so I had a challenging time cleaning up the windows. I added a warmer tone to the picture and brightened up the eyes in order to make this picture look as if the window was clear. This picture could be better if the window reflections weren’t in the corner of the picture. I also wish I did better on editing the nose.

Betsey S- Lobster Trap

I named this photo Lobster Trap because it is a picture of old lobster trap floats. It was taken this summer in Maine at a run down diner. It was taken with my phone because I didnt have my camera with me. I turned the brightness down and turned the saturation up. I feel like the angle and what all is in frame could be better.

Aidan P- Kaleidoscope

This picture is of a llex cassine tree and was taken around March. The tree was at the school and after a while I used it for a kaleidoscope image. I could always do more to it but I like it because of the color of the sky in the background and how there are plenty of berries taking up the space but not too much.

A'Kelsa N- Tamia

This is my friend Tamia and I took this at the Ship and with my camera.

Nora G- Eyes

This image is called eyes. I chose this because I don't have any other pictures imported yet and I left my flash drive at home. I took this picture this summer of my cousin's eyes while we were outside with glow sticks on the fourth of july. I didn't edit it because I tried and it didn't look good. I cropped it a little because there was too much extra stuff at the bottom of the image. I took this with my phone and it would have been better if i took it with my camera because it would have been better quality.

Ayla S- Flower

The title of this image is “Flower,” because I am not very creative when it comes to titles. This was taken in my neighbor’s yard around May. It was taken with my Canon EOS Rebel T6 camera. To edit this photo, I cropped it, added more saturation, and I got rid of small blimishes. It could be better if it was a little sharper.

Allie S- Sky

The title of my selected image is sky. It was taken this summer at Navarre Beach, Florida. It was taken with an iPhone 12. I edited it by bringing up the saturation and messing with the light settings. I think the angle could have been better but overall I like it.

Aiden S- Evanne

This is a photo of my friend Evanne. I took this photo during the summer at the baptist church in vestavia. It was taken with my camera which is a Canon Rebel T7. I edited the contrast, brightness and saturation. I think if the background shows more of the view it would have been better but overall I love how it turned out.
