This is a photo of my 9 year old Shih-zhu pup. Her name is Hannah. She was laying on my bed with me one day and I thought she looked super photogenic and so I took a few pics. And out of all the ones I took this is my favorite :)

Nicole T - Our Minds are Sick

The title of this image is Our Minds are Sick. It was taken in my room a few weeks ago for the Hands and Feet Assignment. It was taken with a Sony Cybershot. I edited it by increasing the contrast, decreasing the brightness, darling and lightening areas with burn and dodge, and adding a cooling filter. It could be better if it was a little less noisy and if my wrist looked less yellow and discolored.

Madelyn F- Horse Show

I took this photo at a horse show. I enjoyed capturing moments between a rider and her horse. This was one of my favorites from the show. I lowered my shutter to get a darker exposure to create some nice shadows and bumped up my ISO to decrease blur. Only thing I would change is the background of the picture.

Ryan F- Caged Bird

This picture is called “Caged Bird.” This picture was taken last year in downtown Birmingham with my Canon T5i. I edited it by changing all the colors and lighting, along with adding a feather pattern on top in a composite style.

Trey D- Pinecone

The title of the image is “Pinecone”. I took this a while back at my house. I took this with my phone. I did some adjustments to the brightness, contrast, and to the vibrance. I also added some filters to it. I could have lowered the brightness a little bit and crop the image.

Olivia H.- Sister

This is a photo of my younger sister that I took for the hands and feet project. To edit I darkened the background and I sharpened the hands holding the pineapple. I fixed her fingernails to remove the chipped paint. I also made her dress black and white. I took this photo with my cannon camera in my backyard.

Cullen S - Faded

This picture is titled Faded because there is a way of editing I do in both Lightroom and photoshop where I combine some of my techniques to some presets I have set up through Lightroom and I just see where the editing kinda takes me. I cropped this picture to get the focus more on the object here that has taken over most of the picture than the light pole in the background that you can’t seen now. I set up this picture with Ryan by making that angle try to be perfect and also by helping Ryan not burn himself too. The color goes really well with this picture and I honestly don’t know what I could do to make this picture any better.

Anna Grace L- Peach

This image is called Peach because there is a peach in the hands of my model. It was taken in the photography studio in a pretty low amount of light. It was taken with a Pentax K200D. I used an overlay filter to darken and lighten the hands and the peach itself. The image could be better if the models hand had not turned out so pink.

Heath M- Glitter Hands

The title of the selected image is called “Glitter Hands” and it was taken a few weeks ago during the Hands and Feet Assignment. It was taken with my Canon EOS 40D and I edited it by using the levels, dodge and burn, and cropping tools. I believe that I could maybe make it better lightening the middle part of the hands more and making them more attention drawing.

I titled this image as flower. I took this picture with my Nikon D3200. This picture was taken few months ago. I edited this picture by cropping it and playing around with the filters.

Taylor D- Hand

The title of this picture is called hand just because it’s just a hand. It was taken a few weeks ago when doing the hands and feet assignment. It was taken with a Nikon 5200. I brightened it up and the contrast along with the saturation.

Alicia U-Pretty White Flower

This picture was taken at my uncle's place in Chicago, with my Canon camera.
I made this picture by cropping it and turn up the brightness and the making the contrast brighter too. I think i could have done better if I play around with the filters and maybe dogging it and burn some sides. Also making the picture more clear.

Raven H ~ Agaze

This image is titled Agaze. I took this picture on the earth born field trip of one of the dogs. I did not edit this image, this is the original. I love the detail and dramatic look of the the darkness but the light on the outside.

Dayne M- Skyscraper

The title of the image is “Skyscraper” because it is an image of a newly built skyscraper in New York City. I took this over the summer with my Nikon D5500. It could be better if the pink blended more with the sky throughout rather than just the bottom. I edited the image by adding a bi color user defined filter to the image and then made the building black and white.

Alyssa R- Saturday Afternoon

This image was taken a couple weekends ago of my friend’s had at Moss Rock on a Saturday Afternoon. It was taken with my Canon Rebel T6 and I edited the lighting a little bit, I made it darker and brightened up the colors. It could be better by maybe brightening up the hand to place more focus on it.

DeVaun J- Field

The name of this picture is Field. I took it behind the fence near the band field. I took it with my snapchat camera then I used photoshop to darken the background and brighten the grass. It could be better if it wasn’t quite so foggy.

Cameron S- I've Got the Light

This pic is titled “I’ve Got the Light”. I took this with my Nikon D5300 and I edited it by making the background black and white and darkening the background. I also lightened the hand a little bit too.

Anna Grace L-Kacker

The title of this image is Kacker and it was taken at Buck Creek in Helena. It was taken with a Canon Rebel T5 and then edited with Light Room mainly to make it lack and white and edit out a few blemishes. It could be better if some of the stray hairs were not as obvious. All if the subject was turned more the image would be more centered.

Brandon H- Blind

This picture was taken at the preserve on the day of the eclipse. The guy in the photo is my main man Ethan. I used Josef’s camera to take it, I think he has a Nikon but I may be wrong. I edited this by dulling the color in the background and boosting the contrast and brightness of the subject. I edited him a little but not much. I could have made this batter by spending more time working on the brightness and contrast because I feel like its a little much.

Madelyn F- Flower

I like this picture because of the shallow depth of field and detail in the flower and hands. I took it with my Nikon D7000. I edited it by lightening it up a little bit and fixing some of the shadows. The only thing I would do different is brighten the edges of it a little more.

Julia M- Lights

This picture is called “Lights”. IT was taken at the Hoover vs Spain Park football game. This is a picture of my friend Chris, he is a trombone player in the Hoover Band. Real cool dude. This was taken with my Nikon D80 when I went to visit my band friends in the stand. I edited it by enhancing Chris and the light coming front in front of him. I also added some blur to really focus on him. I think this could have been better if the picture was more clear (my hands were a lil shaky) and if it wasn’t really bright.

Landon H - Trooper

The title of the Image I chose is “Trooper”. It was taken in my backyard about two Sundays ago around 6:30. It was taken with my Nikon D60 gold Edition. I edited it by sharpening and smoothing a lot, along with darkening the edges, applying a B&W filter then coloring in his collar. It could be better if it were clearer, and a tad brighter.

Raven H ~ Beautiful Bride

The title of this image is Beautiful Bride. I took this picture at my uncle’s wedding while being the photographer for them. I love the greenery behind her and her make up looks really nice in the light. This is one of my favorite images from the wedding. The only editing I did to this picture was to brighten it and add vibrance.

Taylor D- Window

This is a window across the upstairs balcony. it was taken for the site image assignment but was never used. All I did was bumped the contrast and the vibrance.
