Matt O- Thumbs Up (LAST POST FOR THE YEAR)
this photo is called thumbs up. I took it with a tripod and a 30 second timer at a billboard. I edited myself onto the billboard because I thought that would be a cool idea. I like the BW vs the color.

Jeremy L- Inverted Horizon
Props to Matthew. I took this picture a while ago, but wanted to try this inverted horizon style of edit. I was pretty happy with the way it turned out, and couldn’t have done it without some great help.
Zohra P- Jewelry
I took this picture for my second challenge “things that don’t make good pictures”. I like this picture, because it looks colorful. I didn’t edit it much, whatever I did was in iPhoto. I made the shadow and definition level fairly high to give this effect and saturation a little high. I like the way it turned out.

Grace C- Rose
I took this picture at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens with my small group. I sharpened the image and added very little contrast and upped the saturation a bit. There isn’t much i would change.
Grace H- Paint
I took this image on manual mode with my Canon T3i a few weeks ago. I edited this image using Photoshop and just warmed the photo and adjusted the highlights and shadows. This photo is very simple but overall I like it.

Matthew O- Celena
I call this photo Celena because well thats her name. I took it at Tip Top Grill when it was pretty windy. I edited it with a photo filter layer and changed the blending mode to “multiply” to give it the nice contrast and exposure. I also edited the saturation on the trees a little bit to make them look more natural. Overall I rate the photo a 7/10 just because it isn’t too interesting, but it is well composed in my opinion.
Madeline V.- Would You Smile for Me?
I took this photo for one of the challenges and I named it, Would You Smile for Me?, because thats what the sign said. I took the photo in my backyard of my neighbor. I edited the photo by blurring it and then unbarring her eyes, shirt, nails, ring, and hair. I also edited it by messing with the brightness and contrast and the saturation and vibrance. I think that the picture could’ve been better, but I think that it turned out okay.
Zoey E.- Shoes
I took this image for the HDR assignment from the third nine weeks. I also added a black and white filter to the image. Overall, this is one of my favorite photos that I’ve taken/edited.
Nick A - Puppy Love
This photo is called, “Puppy Love.” This photo is of my neighbor’s new chocolate lab was. It was taken with a Canon EOS 7D in a lack of light, so I had to turn up the ISO. I wish I could have taken this photo again with a little more light to reduce the grain. I edited this photo by converting it into a black and white and also by adjusting the contrast and curves.
