Grace H- Farm House

I took this photo when I was on vacation at Michigan. I was at a family friends house. She has a beautiful backyard and farm house so I took some pictures with my iPhone. I edited using the app VSCO cam. I just adjusted the highlights, shadows, & vibrance. I think this photo would have turned out better if I took this on my canon t3i. Overall though I think this photo looks good and I really like it.

Justin H - Close Call

This photo got its name because it was taken right before the ball collided with the players leg. I was attending a Barons baseball game at regions field. I used a camera.

Kate M.- Fish Tunnel

I took this picture over the summer with my canon rebel t3. I took it of my friend Mattie at the Georgia Aquarium. To edit I increased the contrast and messed with the colors so that the water in the tank looks more Dark blue than aqua. I really like the lighting in this picture and how everything looks very aqua. I think it would look better if there were more fish in the tunnel closer to me and if my friends position was a little better, but its a candid so I couldn’t really control it.

Ben D- Isolation

This title of this photo is, “Isolation.” I took this photo over the summer at an abandoned UAB Health Center. I used a Canon T5i with an Opteka 6.5mm fisheye lens. I did a little bit of sharpening and some curve adjustments to help bring out some contrast in the photo.

Crossan R- Spinning

The title of my image is Spinning, because of the obvious reason that they were spinning whilst the picture was being taken. I took this at a park with my friends last year. It was taken with my Nikon d60 using a long exposure. I didn’t really edit this picture at all other than making it a bit brighter and bumping up the saturation. It could have been better if I had used a tripod. Shooting without one caused a bit of blur where I didn’t want it, but it still turned out fine.

Sabrina S- July Fourth

I took this picture while in Greystone Alabama, on the Fourth of July. I used my Canon Rebel T5. I didn’t edit this shot too much, but I did remove someones knee from the background and increased the saturation of the flame and smoke. I think that this picture could be if it wasn’t so grainy and if i took it with a tripod.

Lupita G- Florida

I took this picture in Florida with my D3200. I sharped it and added a little bit of noise on it. I deleted
the people it had

Evan F. - Red

The title of the image is “Red.” It was taken on top of a building downtown this past weekend in the late afternoon. It was taken with my D3300 with a 50mm set on 2.2. I bumped up the saturation a little bit. It could be better if she was wearing something nicer than a t-shirt.

Bella M- Music to My Ears

This photo was taken with a Canon Rebel t3i on an old piano about a month or so ago. When editing this picture i reduced the exposure, bumped up the contrast, and added some green tint to it. This picture has many places where it could improve. One being that the lighting on his hands could be less intensified and the angle could be a bit higher to get more of the piano.

Jeremy L- “So Gold, Much Warm”

This picture was taken some time over the summer at the top of the galleria parking deck a short while before sunset. It was taken with my nikon d5100 and standard 18-55 lens. I didn’t edit this much at all, a very slight change in the brightness at the very top of the image and a very slight decrease of saturation. I would like this much more had it been a portrait with this background, but ya know, models don’t fall from the sky.

Alex D- Lexie

I took this image a few years ago inside my house when my both dogs were looking outside the window. My both dogs always were next to each other like playing in the house or sleeping really close. When i lost my dog Lexie last year i felt  bad that my other dog has to look out the window by himself. I haven’t taken another photo of Reese because when i come home i always see him looking out the window by himself instead of having someone to look with.

Amber S- Sunset

I took this photo a few weeks ago with my digital camera. I was standing in my front yard when I took this picture. I enhanced the colors by increasing the vibrance and I added a warmer filter as well. I think the picture could be a little clearer so the details of the sky and the trees could stand out more.
