Matthew E- Through the trees

I took this photo for the challenge of reflection on clear water. I took a photo of one of the lakes in my neighborhood. I edited this photo by adding contrast and brightness in the darker spots.

Rebecca G- Near Bluff Park

I took this picture near Bluff Park Elementary for the choice assignment. I took it with my digital Nikon camera. I edited it by sharpening the picture, adjusting the brightness, contrast and hue and saturation and dodging an burning different parts of the picture in order to bring out more detail. I wish that the angle of the picture focused more on the door.

Kelley M- Stacey

The title of my picture is, ‘Stacey’. It was all taken in the studio of a lot of different people put together, at least 6 people are in this picture. It was taken with a DSLR. I cited it in photoshop.

Ashley G- Reaching Out

This photo is called Reaching Out. The photos within this composite were taken with my Canon Rebel t3. When I edited this photo, I added filters and erased the things I didn’t need. I also changed the opacity of the photos that were layered on top of each other. This could’ve been better if the hand was more clear without being overbearing.

Mason L - Leaking Tunnel

I took this picture under slows on a tripod. I took two separate pictures and overlaid them using Photomatix to create an HDR. After that I made it black and white. The only thing I would change is I wish I would have taken 4 or 5 shots to overlay and smaller intervals to create a really detailed HDR shot.

Robert C - Kenny

This is a picture i took of my friend Kenny Loften. I took this of him then I changed the contrast and color. I selected him and made 2 layers. 1 Red and changed the opacity to 50% then the original. I gave it a cool look. I didn’t want to do original 3D but something similar but yet different. Overall it looks very good!

Shelby A- Butterfly

The title of this picture is called Butterfly. I took it with my Canon EOS at my old elementary school. I edited it by brightening it and changing the exposure. Overall I like hoe it turned out.

Allison S- Untitled

I took this photo in Ensley, Alabama over spring break with my Canon SL1. This photo was probably taken around five in the evening or so. I didn’t do much to edit this except for adjusting the curves and brightness/contrast. I really like the dreamy effect this photo has and I wouldn’t change anything about it.

IsaacE- Canvas Flower

The title of this picture is titles “Canvas Flower.” This is a composite of three images, the main flower, a lampshade texture, and a ball of red yarn as a color effect. The red yarn as a color effect only was useful, bringing out the yellowness of the flower and canceling out the greens and browns in the background. Adding the lampshade as a texture makes it look as if the picture was printed onto canvas, hence the name. Usually my composites have four to five seen images, so this is definitely on the smaller side, with only two seen images and open color effect image. I really like how it turned out though, and the only thing i would change would be to remove the bug from the rightmost petal.

Kelley M- Rainbow Girls

This is my picture of all the girls in the advanced class as different colors and we blend together to make a rainbow. Its really cool because you can really tell how beautiful everyone is.

Matthew E- Time Lapse

This is photo was taken for one of the Challenges we are doing in class. I took a long exposure of a clock ticking so you good see time moving. I took this photo in the dark and used a flashlight so you could only see the clock and not the surrounding area.

Meredith V- Tess

I took this photo of my friend Tess two weeks ago. This was taken on her back porch. I edited this image by boosting the contrast and increasing the sharpness. I also cropped the photo to put more emphasis on the model. This was a very simple shot. I really like the way the lighting turned out.

Ashley G- Fire and Ice

This composite is called Fire and Ice. The objects in this image were taken at my grandparents house. I took the photos with my Canon Rebel t3. When I was editing these pictures, I knew I wanted it to be colorful and to have different levels of color. Also when i was editing, I thought of creative ways to incorporate different images to get a new image. This could have been better if the flowers didn’t stand out as much.

Anna Kathryn D- Up in Smoke

This is a picture consisting of two different photos. both were taken during the same shoot, last week, at around 6 o’clock. I took this with a Canon Rebel T5 and a 50-mm lens. I started with adding two black and white layers and using bleeding modes on just one of the layers. after some tweaking and little blemishes fixes, i cropped smoke from another picture and added it to the sides and bottom. i also rotated the picture upside down. I really like how it turned out.
