I took think panorama at my friends barn. I edited it by painting over the darker and lighter areas to make them stand out more. I also added an HDR layer and faded it a little bit so that it wasn’t so intense. If I could change something about the picture I would of wanted it to be where it was just the barn and not all the extra items in it. I also would of wished I taken it in HDR to make the wood stand out even more. Either way i am very proud of how this picture turned out!

Abbey W- Fallen Tree
I took this picture in moss rock of a tree that had fallen down. I really like how this HDR turned out. I edited the saturation and boosted up the contrast and brightness. I like all the details in the tree and the green moss on the edges. it could be better if the back ground was not so grainy.

Haley Y- New Orleans
I took this picture over spring break in New Orleans. I love how each terrace has its own personality. To edit this image I upped the contrast and I also changed the curves. Overall I really like how this turned out.
Jenna O - Tie it Up
I took this picture for one of my own challenges. I chose to do a macro/close up challenge. My mom has a wooden bunny on our front porch and it has this really cool texture and that’s where I got the picture from. I changed the curves, the vibrance, added two gradient filters, and added a warmth filter as well.

Emily W- Water Trunk
I actually took this picture a couple of months ago. I found it again when I was looking for pictures to enter into the art show. I adjusted the levels, curves, brightness, and contrast. I like it, I think the image came out pretty well.
Lakeshia B- Maia
I took this photo for the studio lights assignments and was just playing with the lighting. I was so happy with how it come out I usually don’t do portraits as much. I end up having fun doing and changing how my subject look.
Maia S- Amy
I took this photo of my sister Amy for the chair assignment. then made this photo for the composite assignment. I picked it because i love the creepy feel of the photo.
Mariah M- Mark 5 Months
This is a picture is of Mark (Obviously), I took these for his Easter Card and 5 month pictures. These were so fun to take because he was so happy and cheerful!
Mary L- Foul is Fair
This picture was taken in the studio for one of my challenges. The challenge I decided was long exposure. For this picture I had someone help me draw in the background while the camera was set on a slow shutter speed. In photoshop I used the smudge tool to help enhance the light in her hands. I also changed the color of her skin to a green color. I think it turned out very interesting!
Morgan Ann C- Dog Days
I took this picture out on my back deck a over spring break, when the sun was actually shinning. I really love the detail and clarity of the picture, seeing as he wouldn’t sit still and every other picture was blurry. I really like how it came out.

Samantha D- Coca-Cola
I took this photo in downtown bessemer next to the old train depot with a GOPRO camera. I faded the picture and adjusted the contrast. I like how the camera gives a wide-angle view to the photo.
Tripp S- Hailey
This is a photo of a Hailey a friend of mine. This was taken at moss rock shortly after all the rain we had let week. We had in mind to take a few pictures of the waterfalls which were very big of course after the rain and we did a few portraits in the process.
Editing wise I did a lot to tho image; I did two edits, one in black and white the other in color. The color one I did in lightroom as to make use of the Split Toning tool which can change the tones on a photos shadows and highlights. This along with some curves adjustments can make a sort of “hipster” or low contrasty image. The black and white edit I used of course the color value adjustment in the B&W converter to make sure my tones we very even. Finally I used the shadows and highlights tool to bring out the textures in the background.
