Rachel E-Vintage Pot

This is a picture of a white pot my mom bought a couple years ago. I took this picture about a week ago in my driveway. In Photoshop I used curves, color balance and photo filter layer repeatedly. Then I adjusted the levels. I like it because it looks vintage.

Johb S- Studion Portrait

I toke this photo a week ago in the class room with the studio lights and the camera set on auto bracketing. I let the red in the photo come threw the black and white, I think that it could be darker. 

Morgan Ann C- Low Key 3

I took this picture for the high & low key assignment. I really like the contrast and the way the eye looks. I really like the shadows it creates on the face. 

Ellie W.- Old Bike Hanging On

I took this photo at Pepper Place in downtown Birmingham about 3 weeks ago when I went there with my mom.  Its just an old bike hanging on a brick wall that has a lot of vines and different plants growing on and around it.  I edited this one by desaturating it and boosting the contrast, saturation and playing with the shadows and highlights.

Hayley H- Paint

This is a picture of my friend Caroline's hands. I took this picture one weekend when we were painting for the hands & feet project. I really liked the colors of the paint all swirled together. I brought up the saturation and brought out the orange so it would stand out.

I took this  photo for  the  High-Low key project. I edited the contrast and did minor editing.

Savannah F- Levitation

This is my first attempt at a levitation picture. I took too photos and merged them together and erased the bench that was under me. It was really easy.

Paige R- Downtown

I took this pictures several months ago. This is a wall in downtown birmingham. I usually hate pictures  that are crazy over saturated like this. But this is my only exception. I liked this one super bright. 

Meredith S- Waiting

This is a picture of some old books that were at my grandparents' house. To edit this I adjusted the lighting, curves, and added some filters in Photoshop. I did some more stuff in Photoshop but I don't remember all that I did. This was taken with my Rebel XS.

Morgan Ann C- Hidden

I took this picture for the hands and feet assignment. I made it black and white and added contrast to it. I all added text to it and warped it on the hand. I really like the contrast in the picture and the way the text looks on it. 

Graham S- Neon Feet

This is a picture of my legs I took on my trampoline one night. To edit it, I messed with the exposure and with the colors. I then added a neon glow filter. I really like this picture.

Corei B- Hairy Caterpillar

This is a picture of a caterpillar that I took outside my house. I took the picture of the caterpillar because I've never seen a caterpillar like this one and thought it was interesting.

Paige R- Hands

Im embarrassed to say this is my hand. I am 17 and pale. why do my hands look like leather? I took this picture with my macro lens. My hands have some dark paint on my hands. i boosted up the contrast.I also burned the wrinkles and edges to make them stand out more.

Morgan Ann C- Together

  I took these two pictures last year and edited them together this year for the pictures for the site image. I really like this picture because of how the black and white and blurriness of the background contrast wight he clarity and colorfully news of the foreground.

Meredith S- Open

I took this picture with my Rebel xs on my deck. I was supposed to go and take pictures somewhere but it was storming, so I found some old books and took pictures of them. To edit this I cropped it, added some warmth and adjusted the coloring, and adjusted the lighting. 

Hayley H- Rainbow

I took this picture a few weeks when I started shooting for the hands and feet project. The sun was reflecting through a glass table outside and made this cool rainbow. I edited it by lowering the saturation and enhancing the color of the rainbow to make it pop. 

Ellie W- Downtown Prattville

I took this photo in downtown Prattville about a month and a half ago while I was at my grandparents house.  I edited the shadows and highlights a lot and increased the contrast and saturation.

Rachel E-Dead Leaves

I took this picture a little over week ago near where my dad works. Out of all the leaves I saw these were the only dead ones so I took a picture of them. I edited this in Photoshop with brightness/contrast repeatedly and used a warming filter.

Courtney M- Floraleye

For this picture, I took a picture of my friend, and made it black and white. Then I added a picture of a flower and blended it over her face. I used overlay as the blending mode. I also had to clone stamp out some stray hairs on her face.

Brittney L- At Deep Creek

I took this photo in North Carolina at Deep Creek. i took it early in the morning i edited this pictures by adjusting the levels and making it less bright.

Corei B- Moth

This is a picture of a moth that I took outside my house. I edited this image by desaturating the background and increasing the hue and saturation of the moth.

Hayley H- Umbrella

I made this picture for the site image project. The picture of the umbrella was taken at the beginning of the summer at Panama City Beach. This is a composite picture of the umbrella combined with a wooden railing in the background. I adjusted the exposure and levels and also brought out the blues in the sky and the umbrella. 

Graham S- Fishing

This is a picture I took over the summer of my friend Carlyle and myself. I put my camera up on a tree branch and set a timer to take the picture. We were going fishing and we thought that it would be a cool picture. To edit it, all I did was put a black and white filter on it and mess with the color levels. I think this picture would be better if there weren't drink cans all over the ground.

Hannah G- Tuscumbia Wedding

I took his picture this past weekend in Tuscumbia for a wedding. I asked the twin girls to each open one of the doors and the picture turned out pretty cool! To edit this I played with the levels on photoshop, cropped it, and added a poloroid effect thing from the internet.

I took this picture with my Rebel xs with the studio lighting. To edit it I changed it to black and white, added a filter, and messed with levels and temperature. I like how it turned out.
