This photo is called Eyes of the Next Generation. It’s a close-up black-and-white portrait of my eye reflecting a protest, representing how I carry the struggles of women before me and remain aware of the fight that still continues. The image symbolizes my responsibility, as part of the next generation, to see injustice clearly and continue using my voice to demand equality and recognition.

This is such a cool photo. I like how creative the whole picture is, even the title! It really makes me think and wonder about the people that have come before us. I like the b&w because it gives it a more tranquil feeling, almost like the eye of a hurricane. I also really like the editing inside the eye. CT HHS

I really like this photo, especially the symbolism behind it. The harsh lighting also adds to the meaning in my opinion, because opinions on issues like women's rights are becoming increasingly divided. Adding on to that, Iove how there's an almost equal amount of dark and light space. Nice job!
