Evie G - Stepping Stones

This is my photo “Stepping Stones”. I took this picture with my cannon ax700 at a waterfall behind my house. I edited the image by cropping it and adding a sunlight filter to really make the orange and yellow colors of the image pop. What I would have done differently is up the exposure on my camera when taking the image.

So gorgeous! I love her dress and the beauty of the naturally simplistic water, and how it fits in with the rocks. The light bounces off of her hair giving it a sunny, ethereal look. Well done!

“Stepping Stones” by Evie G is a beautifully composed photograph that captures a serene and natural moment. The image features a young woman stepping carefully across a rocky stream with a waterfall in the background, creating a sense of tranquility and movement.

The editing choices enhance the warm, autumnal tones, making the oranges and yellows stand out against the cool blues of the water. The sunlight filter adds a dreamy quality, emphasizing the peaceful atmosphere. The photographer’s reflection on increasing the exposure suggests a keen eye for improvement, showing a thoughtful approach to learning and refining their craft.

Overall, the composition, subject, and editing work well together, making this a visually striking and well-executed piece.

I love the soft light of this photo. The sunlight really enhances the image, making it look more magical. The background is slightly darker than the subject because it isn't illuminated by the sun. The light hits the water and the rocks perfectly. I really like this photo and would definitely hang it on my wall because it a work of art.

This is a really nice picture. It really looks like a really realistic painting. This picture is so well took like the water in the back makes it look more nice and the girl just standing there admiring nature makes it look good. She makes the picture look better she's so pretty :) but its very cute. -RL
