Johb S- Blue Eyed Baby

I love this photo.  took it last week at my house in the front of the house. I added a blur layer and a level adjustment. I wish i had the photo with the babes hand not its mouth. over all i think its a great photo.

Rachel E- Bronze Spikes

I took this picture of my Forever 21 necklace a few days in class using the studio lights. In Photoshop I used a gradient fill and several brightness and contrast layers to edit. I like how this looks.

brittney lucas- sunset

Hayley H- Color Blind Snail

I took this picture on my front porch while i was shooting for the different challenges. To edit it I gusted adjusted the brightness, contrast and exposure. I then changed it to black and white, but painted away the black and white only on the leaf.

Morgan Ann C- Movement 5

I did this picture for one of my challenges called movement. This was also my studio lights shoot. I played round in photoshop and used the pen tool to make the swirls around her. I really liked the way it turned out.

Eccoe J - Kayaking

I took this picture over spring break of a man kyaking. All i really did was brighten the photo up because it was dull

Meredith S- Hillside

This is a picture of some kids playing on a hillside in South Africa. I like the way the light hits them and illuminates their hair, and the angle. I took this with my Canon Rebel xs

Paige R- Portrait

i took this picture a couple days ago for senior portraits for a friend. I edited it by making it a slight yellow-sepia tone. i also brightened her eyes. For this picture i used my macro lens. The only thing i don't like about this picture is that the sun was so bright she could hardly open her eyes, so i wish her eyes weren't so squinty.

Corei B- Leopard

This a picture of a leopard that I took at the Chattanooga zoo over spring break. I edited this picture by adjusting the levels and curves, then I increased the contrast and saturation.

Hannah G- Flower

I took this picture outside of my house this past week. I took it as a HDR so I edited it in photo matix. I touched it up on photoshop. Overall, I think it turned out pretty cool!

Brittney L- City

This is a panorama of the city of Chicago taken over spring break. I edited the picture by adjusting the colors and making the sky more blue.

Ellie W- 1953

I took this photo on my way home from the beach over spring break right outside the Alabama state line. It is the ruins of a gas station from the early 1950s which I thought was very cool. I edited it by using auto levels, adjusting the shadows and highlights and dodging and burning the image in various places.

Meredith S- Cape of Good Hope

This is a panorama of the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa! I love all the colors and the view, obviously. It took a long time to edit because I had to stretch and warp it to make it the right size. I also had to adjust brightness, curves, limits, and colors in Photoshop using multiple layers.

Hayley H- Planet Skies

I took the lighthouse picture at Virginia Beach on a military base. I got the planet and moon background from the internet and put it over my original picture and erased the areas where the light house is. I adjusted the exposure to get the lighting just right.

Johb S- Eagle

I took this photo at the zoo about 3 weeks ago, I put a  black layerr around the eagle and then put a black and white layer on it and masked the eyes. I think the eyes could have more color to them then they do.

Morgan Ann C- Newly Weds

I took this at my cousins wedding over Spring Break. this is a picture from their first dance. All I did was as curves, contrast, and darkened the picture, and made it black and white. I really liked the way it turned out.

Paige R- Creek

i took this picture in Gatlinburg over spring break. It was during a hike in the great smokey mountains. This picture was hard to take because i had to balance myself on rocks. The only editing i did was a little extra britness and contrast in the colors. Looking at it now this picture looks a little crooked. So i guess i should go back and fix that...

Rachel E- Tribal Circle

I took a picture of the sky two Sundays ago at about eleven o'clock in the morning and I used a textured reflection picture from the first semester to make a kaleidoscope. I messed with the brightness and contrast and curve layers after merging the two images.

Hayley H- This is my Real Eye

I made this photo for the composite assignment. It is a picture of my eye that I took as the main image. I put a picture of a flower over my pupil and erased the image all around my eye so it looks like the flowers is in my eye. Then I added a multi colored texture on to to give it the colorful effect.

Rachel E- Finger Kaleidoscope

I took this picture when I was at the University of Montevallo a few weeks ago. I cropped in on the fingers and made a kaleidoscope. I subtly used levels, brightness/contrast and a warming photo filter. I think it looks kinda cool.
