This photo is titled Sunset over Appalachia. It was taken in Maggie Valley on the evening of July 16, 2026 on a camping trip in Smoky Mountains National Park and taken with my iPhone XR. We also went to this location at night to see the stars, but unfortunately, my phone couldn’t capture that as well. I edited it by making the greens more prominent, lowering the black point, and upping the vibrance and saturation just slightly. I tried my best to bring out the beauty of each of the colors in the original photo without oversaturating it and making it look unnatural. I believe this photo could be better if I cropped it better and made it less grainy, but, overall, I really love this picture.

I really like the picture, The clouds at an angle is really cool. The yellows, oranges and blues are very cool how they look like they are behind the mountains. Keep up the good work. Rj-HHS
