This image is titled, “True Colors.” It was taken in my backyard on April 23rd. I took this picture with my Nikon camera. I increased the brightness and saturation. I also added a cool tint to the photo to make the blues pop out more. In addition, I painted the rainbow light effect across my subject’s face. I blurred it, and added a screen blending mode to make it look more like a reflection of the light of the CD. I wish the fence wasn’t in the background. Other than that, I’m really happy with how this turned out.

I love the rainbow glow on her face! That and how she's dressed gives an innocent vibe since wearing white usually represents purity! The hanging CDs in the back make the background stand out and it makes this portrait feel like more than just a normal photoshoot. Also her hair is so prettyyyy!! I feel like I'd see this in a movie where a character is praying to a higher being, and its answering her prayers. The cool tint was a great choice and makes the overall photo look more scenic and elegant. Overall I think this is a really good photo and I can't wait to see it in the hallways! (Hopefully) -SA HHS
