I took this photo, entitled "metamorphose (that which is left behind)", a week or two ago for series 7 of my sustained investigation; I took it with my Canon Rebel SL1 camera. The photo depicts a snakeskin I found in my yard (a whole intact snakeskin! with the head and everything!). I did minimal editing on this one, adjusting only the texture and dehazing. I really like this photo and I am particularly proud of how it turned out; I especially like the way in which the light reflects on the scales around the center area of the photo.
