I titled my image “Micro Life” because the creatures were very small. I took this over winter break at the Atlanta aquarium. I took this using my iPhone 12 pro max and turning down the exposure. I edited this image by using the auto tool on the photos application. I think that if I used my real camera I would have gotten a better quality image but overall I like how it turned out.

I really like this photo; I enjoy the symmetry of the two fish, their shapes and patterns, and how the brighter background brings out the subject.
I really love the focus and how clean the animal is. I love the different colors. I would definitely put this on my wall.
The photo titled “Micro Life” by Helen S captures an impressive close-up of small aquatic creatures, likely in a lush, green aquarium setting. The vibrant contrast between the creatures and their natural environment highlights the details well, even with the use of an iPhone 12 Pro Max. The decision to adjust exposure and use auto-editing enhances the clarity, but the artist reflects that a dedicated camera could have offered even better image quality. Despite this, the composition and focus effectively showcase the subject, creating an engaging and visually appealing result. A commendable effort in macro photography!
