Emily K- Cold Souls

This photo is titled Cold Souls because that is the name of the movie poster I recreated. I took this picture in August while we were doing the movie poster assignment and all of my photos were taken in the back studio and with Mr. Rigsby’s Canon Rebel t6. I did quite a bit of editing for this picture. I took multiple pictures of Mr. Rigsby from different angles and I cropped all of them and put them on top of each other. I also drew the background and the hollow spaces on the bottom half with the paintbrush tool in Photoshop. I also copied all the words and fonts from the original poster. I think it could have been better if I spent more time on refining the hollow drawing on the bottom half. Overall, this assignment was really fun and I enjoyed playing around with new editing techniques!

I like how to light is radiating from the center. I like how there's an equal number of light and dark spots. I'd easily hang this photo on my wall.

You did an amazing job editing this photo! I love how the inside of the head looks, it's a great transition to the next head.

Your photo titled "Cold Souls" sounds like a fantastic project! It’s great to hear how you utilized different angles and combined them to create a dynamic composition. Your effort in drawing the background and hollow spaces shows creativity and skill, especially using Photoshop’s paintbrush tool. It’s understandable to want to refine aspects of your work—every artist has areas they see for improvement! It sounds like you really enjoyed experimenting with editing techniques, which is what this kind of assignment is all about.
