I took this photo outside my house beside our sidewalk in the front. There were some poinsettias sitting out there so I took one of the petals off of the flower and laid it in some grass. I really like the contrast of the colors and the natural brightness of the red on the petal. I used my macro lens to shoot this. I used a mask and desaturate the top layer and masked the color through on certain parts.

This looks so great. The petal is in amazing focus and I love the contrast of the red petal and the pieces of grass against the black and white.
This is a really pretty picture! The leaf really pops since the background is black and white. Good job!
