Rachel N - Hydrophobic

This is Hydrophobic. It was taken in my house on October 26, 2025. It was taken with my Nikon Z5 camera. I edited it by playing with the colors and saturation, and added a droplet to make it cooler. It was essentially for the Architecture, Leaves, or Moods assignment. I did great on editing the leaves.

This is such a cool photo! I love the few small water droplets on the leaf because they draw in the attention of the viewer. The green is also very vibrant and is very well contrasted with the shadows under the leaves. CT HHS

This is a great photo. I like the deep green color of the leaf and how the blurring in the foreground highlights the water droplet. AM HHS

I really like how the water droplet stands out and immediately draws your eye to the center of the image. The rich green tones and saturation make the photo feel calm and natural while still being visually interesting. Overall, this is a strong composition, and your editing choices really enhance the mood of the piece.
