Dylan T- Novacane

I named this image Novacane after the Frank Ocean song. I took it maybe a month or two ago in my backyard with my Canon Rebel T7. I didn’t edit it much because I felt like it was already almost identical to Frank’s cover, so I just brightened it up and brought up the vibrance a little bit. I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out, but I'm open to suggestions.

This picture is really cool, I like the recreation of the album cover too.

This picture Is good, I like the way it uses the same colors as the novacane cover but not directly copying the cover. you did a great job pulling the same vibe as the cover.

Dylan T’s “Novacane” is a strong, visually grounded piece that effectively captures texture and color in a simple subject. The composition draws focus to the vibrant orange handle of the garden tool, which contrasts sharply against the dry grass and fallen leaves, creating a visually dynamic effect. The decision to minimally edit and only enhance brightness and vibrance shows thoughtful restraint—allowing the natural textures and colors to speak for themselves while still giving the photo energy. The personal connection to Frank Ocean’s cover adds depth, suggesting an intentional mood and emotional tone. Overall, this image is both artistically sharp and emotionally reflective, with room to explore creative angles or alternative crops if desired.

I really like this photo. I like the strong grain that it has, a very detailed texture. I feel like this would make a great album cover for an old Midwest emo song or a shoegaze album. I really like the aesthetic in the picture very awesome!

This is a great photo! I especially like how saturated the colors are and the great clarity all of the textures have.

This photo is so cool, I really like the nostalgic feeling of the leaves and grass under the scooter. The colors really make it pop. Good Job!
