Zoey E.- Flash

This is an image I took of a chrysanthemum(I think) that my dad gave my mom and I didn’t edit it. I took it in my room with a white poster board in the background. I titled it flash because I used the flash on my camera. I really liked this photo.

BellaM- Star Gaze

This picture was taken in a tennis court with a Cannon T3i. When editing this I placed a pic of the stars in the sky rather than the buildings in the background. I also messed with the hue and color scale. This could be better in many ways.

Madeline V.- Bubble Reflection B&W

This photo is called “Bubble Reflection B&W” because I had a colored one, and then this one, I think I like this one a little bit better though. I took this picture in my backyard for the reflection assignment with my Nikon D3200 and I edited it by messing with the brightness and contrast, and then messing with the vibrance, then I made it black and white and colored the bubble. This picture could be better if the reflection and top of the bubble was a little sharper and in focus, but I otherwise like it:)

Justin - Noah

This photo is named after the subject. The photo was taken at night near a street light. He looks like he’s resting his head on his arm but he isn’t. The photo was taken with a Nikon D2x and a 50mm prime.

Lupita G - Wont Stop Running

I took this picture in the Preserve when the sun was going down. I brightened it up a lot. I also added a filter to it. I fixed some shadows in the picture as well. I think this could be better if she stood out a little more

Tizoc J- Matthew

Thus is a picture i took of my friend Matthew, I don’t remember what I did to edit it. I took it with a Pentax K-5.

Zohra P- Cupcake

Sweet! I edited this by curving it, auto contrasting it. Mr. Rigsby helped me by making the background darker and defining it. I don’t know what I can do to make this picture look better?

Jakelyn R- Door to the Soul

This is an image of my grandpa I took when I was in Mexico.  I didn’t do much to this image but make his eyes a little bluer than they really are.

Amber S- Reflections

I named this picture Reflection. I took this picture with my digital camera. I increased the saturation and added a cooler filter. I also sharpened the image to add more detail in the actual reflection. I added a curves layer and that brought out the blue in the sky part of the reflection. I think if I included the actual tree and the reflection together it would have been a better image overall.

Kristin S- Sunset Blv.

I took this picture on the way to school on morning. I took it with my cannon rebel xs. I didn’t do a lot of editing to it mostly just cloning the power lines and cars out.

Matthew O- b0rf

this photo is called “b0rf”. I took it at Bluff Park Elementary School when it snowed. I took it in the freezing cold so I wanted to die when I was out there with no gloves. I edited with vsco cam and photoshop. I did some glow filters in photoshop and did some exposure and color correcting in vsco cam. I like it and don’t think i would change it.

Davis D-Nikes

The title that I gave this photo is “Nikes.” I took this photo back in September when railroad park had a huge event. This was taken around 3:30 so there was still a good amount of light out. I took this with my Canon 7D Mrk ii with a 135mm f/2 lens. The photo came out nicely and the shoe is very sharp and in focus. There isn’t much more I wanted to do in editing because I like how the photo came out originally.

Kate M.- My Own Hand

I took this picture for the hands and feet assignment. This is my own hand and I took this picture in the studio. I like the light and shadow in it and I think its a really clear image. I would like it better if I had gotten a little more of my wrist in the picture, but I could only reach so far.

John Michael A - 3rd Floor

This is a composite image. It consists of a flower, a wall in an abandoned building, and graffiti from another part of the same building. I added several filters and levels adjustments to bring everything together and make the texture look sharp, rugged, and uniform. I like the lighting and rough texture of this photo.

Zoey E.- Double Exposure

This is the first time I tried doing double exposure. I used a picture that I took about a year ago of some flowers in my front yard and a picture that I took about a month ago at school for yearbook during a pep rally. I added a pink gradient the same colors as the flowers.

Evan F- Jack

This is a picture of my friend Jack. I took it of him in an ally downtown late afternoon one day. The unedited photo was extremely overexposed and flushed out, so a lot of post work went into editing this image to save it. I think it was pretty successful and I enjoyed processing it.

Justin C- Drive

I named this photo “Drive” for obvious reasons. I took this photo with my Nikon D3300 around mid day. I took it just to capture the moment. I edited it by lowering the vibrance and editing out the headlights of the oncoming car so they wouldn’t be as distracting.

Sabrina S- Selina Black and White 2

This is one of my favorite pictures of my sister, I don’t think that it could be any better- and I really like the black and white. I smoothed out her face and lightened her eyes just a little bit, I also darkened some of her features on her face where it was needed.

Grace H- By the Vans Store

I took this photo with my canon t3i using manual mode on my camera. This photo was taken at the Galleria by the Vans store. To edit this I went on photoshop and did slight adjustments to the exposure. I added a dark overlay over the photos in the background to make it pop out more.

Brody G - Carraway

The title of this image is Carraway because it was taken at Carraway hospital. I shot this last weekend. To edit it, i just messed with the contrast and the colors and stuff. It could be better if there was less noise in the background, other than that I think its a good photo:)
